Children's Museum and Dance Facility
Client: Collage Children’s Museum and Village Arts Coalition, Boulder, CO

The Civic Use Building will act as a museum and community dance facility at a private demolition site shared by a new hotel and a parking garage in Boulder, CO. This structure will be a playful, yet educational experience.  The building design expresses the natural elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water through the use of solar energy to power exhibits, wind to ventilate, a watershed roof to celebrate the preciousness of water and reclaimed sandstone that forms the building base. The building is an experimental space with deep ties to the community.
