Comprised of a residence, studios, and barns, the "home on the range" is an organic modern reinterpretation of the classic ranch home dotting the plains off the Front Range in Colorado. Radiating from a thick curvilinear axis wall - constructed from rammed earth and shifting from indoor to outdoor as it traverses the site - the home's elements remain connected but are allowed a clear distinction between public and private realms.
