The Urbanite
Boulder, Colorado
The Urbanite is a complete Architectural Interiors package for a loft in Boulder. Inspired by the dramatic western views, the lively urban setting, and the confident masculinity of the client, while needing to balance the intense western sun filtering into the space, clean lines and a rich, dark material palette were chosen. A combination of absolute black and blue eyes granite was integrated with custom charcoal cabinetry in the kitchen and living room. The more intimate spaces incorporate natural cherry cabinetry and gray limestone to evoke a sense of calm and retreat, contrasting the bold warmth of the loft’s open areas.
A complete furniture package was selected with the client to complete the contemporary sensibility of this urban retreat.
