Boulder Jewish Commons

Boulder, Colorado

The master plan and design guidelines for this 31-acre site in Boulder facilitate a campus for Jewish Community Life. Including synagogues, an educational and cultural center, recreation facilities and housing for Jewish elders, the campus will be a meaningful contribution to the cultural fabric of Boulder - and a physical manifestation of the Jewish value of tikkun olam, repair of the world.

As land acquisitions progressed and various users entered and exited the picture, Barrett Studio has responsively adapted the common’s Master Plan. This creative & functional evolution can be seen in the plan images included here, from most recent to most historic.
