Co-Creative Design

What is co-creative design? It is removing the architect from the realm of the solitary and omniscient, and instead fostering an inclusive design environment. We begin by listening: listening to our clients dreams & fears, wants & needs; listening to the land's whispers and shouts - the slopes, the sun, the winds and the water.

The process continues with a thoughtful integration of our expertise with this knowledge base. Throughout design, more conversations ensue…our role as provocateur comes out. Models prompt discussions with clients on the feel of space and interactions of volume. Our open studio environment encourages bright ideas to be shared. Relationships with consultants in engineering, landscaping, and construction bring technical considerations to the equation. Ultimately, this collaborative co-creation results in truly unique projects that resonate with meaning.
