Nicole Delmage
Project Manager, Associate
Nicole’s early interest in the arts was heavily influenced by her family of art makers and builders. She attended high school at Etobicoke school of the Arts in Toronto, the University of British Columbia for a degree in Fine Arts, and then swapped coasts to attend the Technical University of Nova Scotia for a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture.
Nicole worked with architectural firms in Vancouver and San Francisco, before moving to Denver in 2002. Shortly thereafter she landed a position at Barrett Studio where she works with great energy and professionalism as a project manager on residential, institutional and master planning projects. In Nicole’s work she emphasizes strong and consistent design, from the big idea to the details.
She also brings her long standing commitment to sustainable thinking and practice to all of her projects, including her own home. She bought and renovated a 600 square foot house in Denver, originally built in 1893 as housing for railroad workers, to be her treasured urban retreat. Nicole’s commute to Boulder is a twice daily bike+bus+bike-a-thon and since moving to Colorado she has rekindled her forgotten love of cross-country skiing, keeping her skis at the ready under her desk.
